This piece showcases two elements, forget-me-not flowers and a map of the city of Boston. I chose these two elements together as the map reflects the root system underneath the flowers. Additionally, my brother had just moved to Boston and I created it with him in mind as a way to celebrate the growth of moving and the importance of remembering your roots.
