Recently I got the privilege and honor of getting to learn watercolor from Luvon Sheppard. An incredible artist and teacher with a legacy of 52 teaching years at RIT. I feel very lucky to have gotten to explore the medium under his guidance. I learned a great deal about both the medium and myself.

Portraits
We moved into portraits, a subject I typically shy away from. As we worked on them I found a love for the blending of the technical precision of realistic portraits and the luminous uncontrollable nature of watercolor. Blending to create these charming light portraits.
